In cases where invasive treatments for myomatous wombs are needed, the following treatments can be chosen:
- Embolization of the uterine arteries
- It consists of introducing particles through these arteries so that blood stops reaching the fibroid. In this way, it will reduce its size or even disappear.
- consists of removing the fibroids. It is usually performed by hysteroscopy or laparoscopy.
- consists of removing the uterus. It's the last option.
