After an IUI or IVF cycle, feeing a series of symptoms associated with the hormonal medications taken is totally normal. In most cases, they have nothing to do with pregnancy.
Some of the most common ones are:
- Abdominal bloating
- Tender, swollen, and/or sore breasts
- Frequent urination
- Lower back pain
- Headache and nausea
- Somnolence
On the other hand, feeling no symptoms at all is normal as well, and it does not indicate that the treatment has been successful or has failed. It is not possible to reach a valid conclusion until the pregnancy test, that is, when the 2WW finishes.
