What is azoospermia and how is it diagnosed?

Azoospermia is diagnosis using a semen analysis or seminogram, also called sperm test. Based on the sperm count of the sample, the patient can be diagnosed with:

Azoospermia
No sperm in the ejaculate.
Cryptozoospermia
Less than 100,000 sperm/ml.
Oligozoospermia
Less than 15 million/ml.
Normozoospermia
No sperm disorder found.
