The window of implantation means that the endometrium is receptive and, therefore, it is the ideal moment to transfer the embryos in an in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment.
The window of implantation usually occurs 5-7 days after ovulation. However, it can happen that the window of implantation is displaced. In these cases, the embryo transfer would be cancelled and the biopsy would be repeated at another time in the menstrual cycle.
