Those women who have vitrified eggs and want to use them to become pregnant will have to undergo the second part of the IVF treatment, that is, the fertilization of the eggs with the partner's sperm and the preparation of the endometrium for the embryo transfer.
Prior to this, the eggs will have to be devitrified and the cryoprotectants removed to rehydrate them.
It should be noted that the fertilization method will necessarily be an ICSI since the eggs are decumulated and conventional IVF cannot be performed.
