The member of the couple in charge of carrying the pregnancy to term will undergo endometrial preparation and embryo transfer. The goal is for the endometrium to become 7-9 mm thick and trilaminate in order to increase the probability of embryo implantation.
The preparation of the endometrium is done through the administration of estrogen and progesterone. When the endometrium has the ideal characteristics, the embryos are deposited in the uterus of the pregnant mother.
