Menstrual disturbances and lack of ovulation are some of the most common symptoms of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). However, they are not the only ones. Other clinical manifestations associated with this condition in women include:
- Hormonal disturbances.
- Presence of elevated anti-Müllerian hormone levels.
- Ovarian cysts.
- Obesity.
- Dark, thickened skin, known as acanthosis nigricans.
