Varicocele affects spermatogenesis

A varicocele can alter the sperm production process, as well as testosterone levels. This can lead to more severe sperm disorders that prevent pregnancy, including:

Oligozoospermia
low sperm concentration.
Asthenospermia
low sperm motility.
Teratozoospermia
abnormal sperm morphology.
