The causes that can produce alterations in the cervical mucus are varied, so the treatment will be different depending on the cause that is producing them:
- Drugs with estrogens prescribed by the specialist.
- Antibiotics or antifungals after medical evaluation and prescription.
- Lubricants.
- Artificial insemination.
For this reason, it will be important to consult with the specialist about any alteration observed in the mucus of the cervix, so that he or she can carry out an assessment, determine the causes and prescribe the most appropriate treatment.
