There are several reasons why embryos may not implant correctly in the uterus. Possible causes include systemic causes, caused by alterations in systems other than the reproductive system. This is the case with thrombophilia or immune system disorders.
The main reason why systemic causes affect embryo implantation in the uterus is not well understood, although various diagnostic studies are being investigated to improve the entire process.
