Normal vs. poor motile sperm count

For the result of a semen analysis or sperm test to be considered normal, the total motile sperm count (TMSC) is a key value.

Following the WHO's 5th edition guidelines, normal values for sperm concentration (count) are 15,000,000/ml or more, total motility of 40% or over, and progressive motility 32% or more.
