Pregnant women with adenomyosis may be at increased risk for some pregnancy complications. Among them:
- Miscarriage.
- Intrauterine growth retardation.
- Placenta previa.
- Preeclampsia.
- Premature delivery.
- Cesarean delivery.
- Postpartum hemorrhage.
Therefore, an adequate follow-up and control of the pregnant woman with adenomyosis is very important.
