Risks of multiple pregnancy with number of embryos transferred

There exist many women who are not afraid of the risks involved in a multiple birth. In fact, they wish to get pregnant with twins, without taking into account the number of risks it entails.

Problems during pregnancy, labor or the development of the unborn children are more likely to occur than in a singleton pregnancy.

With double embryo transfer, the risk of getting pregnant with twins or more is higher. It will be even higher if three embryos are transferred instead of two.
