Implantation failure can be caused by uterine factors, as these can affect endometrial receptivity and, therefore, embryo implantation. Possible causes related to the uterus include:
- Chronic infections in the endometrium.
- Abnormalities in the uterine cavity.
- Displacement in the implantation window.
Therefore, the specialist must investigate these possible causes to determine whether this is the origin of the implantation failure.
